Jared and Lindsey met in a way only fitting to the 21st century: on a dating app. After what felt like so many wasted hours starting conversations and going on horrific dates, Lindsey came across Jared's profile. She was immediately intrigued by his smile and portrayal of being an adventurous soul. One of the last pictures on his profile was of Jared hunting with a few of his brothers. Her outreach was direct and simple, asking him, "Can I get an invite next time?" Jared (almost immediately) replied, "Absolutely." The rest, as they say is history.

Their first date was February 10, 2022 at Ruth's Crist steakhouse in downtown Denver. Jared showed up in dress slacks and a button down, every bit the chivalrous gentleman. When it came time to order, Jared ordered his steak well done.... Lindsey proceeded to roast him mercilessly for this and thus began their dynamic of having the perfect "roast to romance" ratio in their relationship.

We are so grateful to this crazy, tech savvy, day in age for bringing us together. We also have no doubt that God prepared our paths to meet exactly when it was the right moment.
